Echo is a relatively average-sized girl of her age. She's not curvy or flat, but somewhere in-between. Her hair is a golden-brown color and is slightly wavy. Her eyes are soft, of a deep brown color, and innocent-looking. She's all-together unassuming in looks, stuck between childhood and womanhood.p e r s o n a l i t y
Echo suffers from retrograde amnesia. In this certain branch of amnesia the patient is unable to recall any events that happened to them before the amnesia developed. But aside from that, she's a very lofty girl. She has a habit of drifting off, trying to remember her past, but failing other than a few flashes of people whose faces she can't recall. When she's not trying to remember herself, she's very kind, if a bit off. She's a helper, always glad to do her best in keeping Staten great or her friends happy.h i s t o r y
Born Minnie Hazel Joyce, Echo was a child of respectable and high-class parents. Her family was caring and loved to keep their youngest daughter. Nothing bad could possibly happen to the family. And nothing did…to it as a whole.l i k e s & d i s l i k e s
The only problem with Minnie was that from the age of five she had a bad tendency to leave the house on her own to explore the world around her. Her family would always get her back, safe and sound, but there was always worry. But one day when she was seven, Minnie didn't come home and couldn't be found. She had been running around the ferry, on her way to Staten to buy herself sweets, when she had tripped and hit her head–hard. Tripping and falling is the only thing Echo can remember now.
She was woken up by a man shaking her shoulder on the ferry dock a day or so later. She had no clue as to who or where she was, and couldn't get any help from anyone she asked. Lost and afraid, the nameless little girl made her way to an inviting building that turned out to be the newsie lodging house, where she's lived ever since.
