lucky was sitting on the docks, he did'nt feel like swimming, are playing, he wanted to send a messege for someone, doll to be specific, well she was head over the birds,and birds in tranning, lucky was looking for her everywere, he look by the bridge, under it he look almost everywere in brooklyn, he evan went up to spots perch, not on but up to like 3 feet away up to, he let out a sigh and hung his head down which made is curly browen hair to fall in his face "i just wanna help" he said in a sad voice.

Walking up the docks, Doll looked around, trying to figure out who was there and who wasn't. It had been a rough day selling for her, only selling forty that day, but hopefully things would get better. Hopefully. Looking around, she spotted her new bird in training, Lucky. He was quite the learner, always following her, to a point where it was becoming a bit natural to see him around. Maybe it was because he always wanted to help her sometimes, well, more like all the time, but wanting to help all the same. Smiling a little, she walekd over.

"Hey Lucky boy," she said, ruffling the copper skinned boy's hair, "Whatcha doin' alone?" Doll never quite minded Lucky, others did, but that was only cause of skin tone, but that never really bothered her. You learned to not care about those kinds of things when you were a newsie. It was more who was gonna help you and who was gonna beat ya that mattered. Besides, Lucky was just a kid, one of her birds at that, even if he wasnt a full on bird yet. More like a fledging, yea, more of a fledging than anything.

"Hey Lucky boy,Whatcha doin' alone?" when lucky heard doll's voice he almost fell in the water he was so excited " i was looking for you, i wanted to help with somthing but i could'nt find anyone to help, so i went looking for you almost everywere in brooklyn!!!" lucky was talking fast and each word he said his eye's got bigger " and, and, when i could'nt find you i came back here and sat down just looking at the water waitting for you to come back, o did i tell you i evan looked under the bridg!" when lucky mentioned the looking under the bridge part he puff't up his chest with pride then he gave doll a hug "were did you go?" he said looking up at doll.

Laughing a bit when he was rambling, she ruffled his hair and hugged him back with one arm, "I was busy doin' my job Luck. Had to go check up on some stuff before I came down here. You went all 'round Brooklyn? You must be tired, walkin' all of Brooklyn is a long time." Doll was just happy that there was a boy smaller than her for once, even if he was younger. It was nice, cause Singer was twelve and almost six feet tall! It seemed everyone was growing quite fast. Well, to her they were just taller.

Sitting down against a beam, she motioned for Lucky to sit next to her, that way he could rest from walking around all day. Doll was tired too, but wouldn't admit it. Her and Spot had gotten in something of a fight a while back, and she still wasn't sure what was going on lately. Hopefully things were gonna get better. Hopefully. Thats all that seemed to matter these days, Hope. If you didn't have that, then it seemed like there wasnt much for you to do. You had to have hope to survive, and all that.

lucky amiled evan more when he made doll laugh, "I was busy doin' my job Luck. Had to go check up on some stuff before I came down here. You went all 'round Brooklyn? You must be tired, walkin' all of Brooklyn is a long time." lucky noded his head yes " well am not that tired, to be a futre bird iz have to get use to it," he said siting next to doll "and so i can no which way is east and is west and...and..to go..." lucky said getting a little confused he huffed " doll when can i go give a messege to someone" lucky ask looking up at doll, but somthing elses was on luky's mind, see as he was looking for doll,he found a hurt puppy,well it was a dog, but it's so small lucky calls it a puppy, the dog liked lucky, and lucky like the dog, he alaways wanted another one, he had one but it died in the fire, he named this dog bingo,are fluffy, since it was a girl and all, are at least he thought it was a gril, he did'nt check, before doll had come he was plaing fech with it bout he threw the stick kinda far, then the dof saw a squrril and went after it,so he was alone agin. but then he saw the curlyish shaggyness of the small dog's head pop up : o no: thought lucky, he was going to ask doll but the dog came running up and kinda tackled doll and showered here in licks, thats when lucky hoped to his feet and grabbed fluffy bingo "um, haha, doll i was going to ask you and show you her later cues i wanted it to be a surprise....SURPRISE!?!?" doll just look at lucky "can i keep fluffy bingo, please,o please, i promis i'll clean up after her ,take her fro walkes, feed her...." luck went on "pleas doll, i made friends please"
