Enya walked along the edge of the Bridge as she listened to the seagulls caw at her. She was in the perfect place to be when it came to sun sets and sun rises if you didn't feel like walking far. She pulled out her Pocket watch and looked at the time, 5:22 PM, only a few more hours till sunset and she would be happy. She loved the night time, and couldn't ever be more excited to watch the sun as it went down. The orange rays mixing with the clouds in a perfect composure, creating a soft pink then fading to purples and blues. It was like watching a painter at work, as they poured on the different colors of paint then mixed them in subtly.
Putting away her pocket watch, she sat on one of the large boxes that seemed to collect on the Bridge. She could feel the breeze of the water brisk against her face, smelling the salted water with its simple freshness. It would be hard to explain the feeling she was having at the moment. Peaceful, seemed to ring in her thoughts as she sat awaiting the night time. She had nothing to do for the rest of the evening, she had sold her amount of papes for the day, spent a little on something to munch on, gave the rest to Spot for the rent of their Borough then came here to push away all those thoughts.
To get rid of the worry and the constant annoyance of everyone driving down her throat at full speed. Spot was falling further and further down the road of discovering love with Doll, the newsies in Brooklyn were always asking Enya for money, and it all just compacted into a giant knot in her skull. Enya hopped off the box and went over to one of the benches, pulling off her newsie hat, she let her dark brown hair fall out and around her shoulders. Her hair fell in curls as she laid down on the bench,
maybe i can get a few hours of sleep in? she thought. as she closed her eyes and placed her hat over them to block out the sun.

Singer walked along the bridge, still glumb from losing his best friend, Jax. It wasn't his fault, well, it felt like it. But he did spot something on the bridge. Enya was one of the few girls who were nice to him, and right now, he wanted someone to talk to. He walked up to her, "Enya... can I talk to you?" There were the few Singer could actually talk to about stuff, but after a while, he would just randomly just ask to talk to Enya. She was the girl he went to when he couldnt talk to Jax about stuff.
He always liked to have other confidants, so Enya was always a good person to talk to. In a way, she just kind of understood things, different from guys, and with Muse, well, he didn't wanna bother her. "It's kind of important," he added. Singer just really had to rant, so hopefully he would be allowed to rant at Enya. Key word: hopefully. If he could, he would rant all night, because his feelings were just going crazy. He felt hurt and betrayed, cause of Jax being a Harlem. It wasn't the best feeling in the world.

Enya was just about to doze off when she heard the calm but tainted voice of Singer.
"Enya... can I talk to you? It's kind of important,"
She pulled off her hat and looked up at Singer, his face was soft and worried. "Of Course ya' can Singa, I'm always here to listen if ya need me," she said with her accent, giving him a reassuring smile before sitting up and scooting over. She shook out her hair as she tried to wake up a little more. It wouldn't be good if she started dozing off in the middle of the conversation.
She looked at Singer with a worried expression, "What's the matta?" she asked, her brows scrunching into a puzzled expression. He looked troubled and she wanted to know why, whoever hurt his feelings she would definitely soak em'. No body hurts Enya's friends without gettin' a good kick in the rear. She was always like that with her fellow Brooklyn mates', tough and protective.

"What's the matta?"
"Do I honestly have to tell you, because I think we all know whats the matta," he replied, his voice cracking a little, tears forming in his eyes. He plopped down next to her and rested his head on her shoulders, crying silently. "Jax was like the only friend I had, and then he just up and joins Harlem, how can he do that to me!?" Singer never had a family, so Jax had been his brother. But him betraying... it was awful. He felt like a lost puppy, trying to find a new family and everything.
If ya knew Singer, you'd know how he felt. He hated losing people, because then he'd never see them anymore. He never knew if he'd lose someone or find someone, but he never liked to lose anyone. Which was why he went to Enya. He didn't think Muse or Bear would understand, he sure didn't want to go to Spot, so Enya it is. She was a great person to talk to, even though she was older than him by a couple of years. But at least he could talk to her about stuff.

"Do I honestly have to tell you, because I think we all know whats the matta, Jax was like the only friend I had, and then he just up and joins Harlem, how can he do that to me!?"
Enya suddenly became at a loss for words when she listened to him, and did the one this she knew to do. Leaning forward, she pulled him into a big hug and let him rant on about what ever he needed. "Oh Singa, I'm so sorry, i know you must be hurtin right now and i think - no i KNOW that Jax didn't do it to you. He probably was just trying to get Doll outta there is all, and he ran outta options. I'm sure he didn't leave to their side on purpose. I'm Positive." she said, trying to comfort him at least a little.
Everyone knew that Enya never really gave hugs to anyone but her close friends, and that it was rare she ever gave them out. They were kind of special in that way. She pulled away from him to see Singers face "I'm sorry this happened to ya," she said, giving him a concerned face before sitting back next to him. "Feel free to speak all you want, it's the least i can do." she said with another reassuring smile.
