It's kind of crowded, but full of fun and games!

Gunner smiled his childish smile as he walked around the boardwalk. There was just something about Coney Island that he loved, it might have been the games or the rides that he was able to play every once in a while or it might have been all the food stands that he could easily swipe something from when the owner wasn't looking. He nodded his head, yeah, it was definitely the swiping. And speaking of which at that moment his stomach decided to give a loud growl telling him that he was hungry, time to do a little food searching. Shoving his hands in his pockets he whistled a little tune as he strolled down the wooden walk way looking for anything booth that was busy and smelled good.
He stopped only once on his path and that was to tip his bowler hat to a group of pretty girls that caught his eye. Smiling he watched as they blushed and giggled like the school girls they were and continued on his way. Soon his nose caught the aroma of something good and he followed it, his smile growing when he realized it was a hot dog stand. Slowly he made his way over and made it look like he was just coming by to look at the view of the water or whatever people would find interesting. Out of the corner of his eye he watched and waited till the owner of the stand had his back turned and in a quick and easy motion, Gunner, grabbed the hot dog and took off down the the board walk. Weaving in and out of people he held the food firmly in his hand and when he felt that he was far enough away. Which he was for he could not see the stand any longer he held the hot dog up like a prize and took a big bite. Oh yeah, best thing about Coney Island was defiantly the swiping.

June was taking a little trip. Coney Island had everything. The lights. The food. The amazing shows. The fireworks. The rides. But it held a little bit more for June. A pinch of lemon in her fruit salad. Because Coney, it had some of the ultimate magicians, freaks and contortionists. And some of the traditional scams. She was walking past a magician that stopped her. He was trying to obviously steal something from her, but he offered to show her a trick. She nodded, smirking internally. She felt the hand slip into her pocket and grab her money as he reached behind her ear. 'Is this yours?' he asked and pulled out a nickel. She nodded. "And so is this." She reached into his pocket, and pull the coins he had stolen past his ear. "Thanks for keeping it warm." She walked on. She had gain a nickel out of that scam. She was rather proud of herself. She decided to use some of the money to buy some food, and she bought her favorite show food. Cotton candy. If she loved anything it was cotton candy that she loved. She bought a bag and headed for the boardwalk to eat it. She passed some people, but no one caught her eye. But she was always looking for them. She had always had the glimmer of hope that she was going to find her family. Coney Island would be the place they were. She watched a boy steal some food and she sighed. The damn rat race. She followed him down the boardwalk. Not planning on turning him in or anything. just following.
