For Tootsie
I've tried everything and anything. You can't see the pain I've felt being separated from you.
There's never been– and never will be– another like you. With your sweet face, and your sweet voice, how could I find another like you?
Please take me back before my heart comes undone and I can never love again knowing I hurt you.
Last Shot {bear}
The countless times I've envisioned This moment in time where you Are right here with me, and listening To my one small humble request.
This is my one last hope for you My one last endeavor for you, But as much as it would kill me If you declined and you left me, I would let you. I would watch And though I would wish it weren't so I would let you go.
The way your eyes shine And your hands twist your hat The way that you smirk Or your sweet and low voice, That makes my dear heart Skip a beat or two...or three. It'd be hard to manage without. But I'd learn to and yearn to, But there'd still be a gap in my heart Where your light used to be.
it kills me to think of what it might be like If you decline my plea and leave my prayer unheard Will I just be a shell? Or will I move on? To seek different Not even similar Venues for love? Or will I be unable To shake you from my mind?
Speak, oh my love, Please answer me this. Do you love me?
